The TAPEDRIVER-16POW LED driver delivers 600 W over 16 channels to control your professional LED ribbon installations with complete freedom.
Architectural lighting, retail, hospitality, commercial spaces: whenever the installation of LED ribbons requires power, flexibility and precise control, this 16-channel driver is the centralized solution. Compatible with all monochrome, variable-white, RGB or RGBW LED ribbons, the TAPEDRIVER-16POW offers up to 200 W per connector (4 x 200 W connectors) with totally free 16-channel management. Usable in standalone mode with built-in programs or controlled via DMX512/RDM, it integrates perfectly with Contest’s Dynamic Lighting range and PILOTctl4x4 wall controllers.
Powerful, flexible configuration.
The 600W internal power supply feeds four independent 24V DC connectors, each capable of delivering up to 200W for a maximum total of 600W. The 16 channels (4 channels per connector, 16 × 2 A in total) can be freely distributed according to your needs, allowing you to create distinct lighting zones with individual dimming. Adjustable PWM frequencies (1.3 to 8 kHz) and adjustable gamma (0.1 to 9.9) guarantee optimum flicker-free light rendering, eliminating any undesirable flicker effects during photo and video shoots. This mastery of rendering is ideally suited to demanding environments such as showrooms, filmed retail spaces or event venues.
Stand-alone or centralized control.
The driver operates in standalone mode thanks to its built-in programs, accessible via the front LCD screen, or can be controlled remotely via DMX512 with RDM compatibility for configuration from a console. Flexible encoding modes (4 to 24 DMX channels) adapt to all control architectures. The LCD screen displays parameters in real time, simplifying on-site configuration without the need for external tools.
Optional wireless extension.
The integrated USB-A port accommodates a Wireless Solutions-compatible Briteq WTR-DMX dongle, instantly transforming the driver into a wireless DMX receiver. This function eliminates wiring constraints between modules or from controllers, facilitating installation in complex environments or during renovations where the passage of DMX cables proves problematic.
Universal compatibility.
The TAPEDRIVER-16POW controls all types of 24V LED ribbon from the Contest Dynamic Lighting range: monochrome, variable white, bi-color, RGB, RGBW and variants, excluding pixel-by-pixel SMART ribbons. This versatility makes them the cornerstone of mixed installations combining different LED technologies to ensure harmonious integration in complex projects.
